Greg was born in Bedfordshire in 1946, then moved up to Chester when he was 15. He has lived in Rossendale since 1978, setting up a business there in 1981. Greg started playing for Rossendale in 1983, and finished eventually in 2004 aged 58 and if that wasn't enough he then refereed until he was 68! He is happily married to Linda since 1972, with 3 children & 9 grandchildren. Greg has been treasurer at Rossendale Sports Club since 1986. He became involved in starting a junior side league system for East Lancashire in 2005, which later merged with a group from North West Lancashire to form the North West Leagues. He is now retired, but fully involved in local Rugby & in his 5th year as treasurer of our beloved Nowirul!!

Results

Both sides are responsible for sending in the results. Score must be checked with the referee. These must be supplied to Greg by Saturday 6.00pm at the very latest. This can be done by text, telephone or e-mail.

Postponed Games

Postponed games are normally re-arranged for the next available weekend by the Honorary Fixtures Secretary in collaboration with Greg. Re-scheduled fixtures will be shown here within a day or two of the postponement.

DO NOT assume you can simply re-schedule your own games when you have a postponement as there are knock on effects and other Teams' fixtures to consider. Any suggestions can however be discussed with Greg.

Managers should please notify Greg by eMail of any re-scheduled games or fixture switches / reversals which they spot have not been updated in the Fixture List.
